Your Scottish Honeymoon should be as special as your Scottish Wedding.

My travels to Scotland have always been AWESOME, whether by self driving or guided tour, there is no better Holiday than visiting Scotland.

I would like to introduce you to a wonderful gentleman and guide in Scotland for your honeymoon travel consideration. Dave McNicoll is Director of Scottish Routes and brings Scotland to life!

The word 'honeymoon' comes from the old Tutonic custom of drinking honey-wine for a month after getting married, and although this particular custom may no longer be with us, one certainly is - your Honeymoon should be the holiday of a lifetime, the one you will never forget. Many will choose the sun-kissed beaches of the Caribbean, or the peace and quiet of a tropical island, but if its stunning scenery, atmosphere and a land soaked in romantic lore you're after, then there can be only one destination - Scotland.

In a world where all holidays seem to roll into one, it can be said for certain that Scotland will stand well out from the crowd. If you can imagine yourself at the window of an ancient Highland castle watching the red sunset behind snow-capped mountains veiled in swirling mists, while you sip at fine malt whisky in the glow of an open log fire, then you are half way to being there.

Our honeymoons are firmly centered around you, so whatever you want out of the holiday, then we can deliver. From the romantic castles to a week adventure rafting, hill walking, and even ballooning, there is no limit to the possibilities. A honeymoon should not be one picked out of a catalogue, but something magical, and unforgettable, and that is our promise to you.
